About Carrie Day

Carrie Day is the founder of Goat & Drum Pictures, Glasgow. They bring over thirty years of experience in socially engaged arts and filmmaking, with a practice rooted in empathy, psychological depth, and inclusive storytelling. Their work spans film, theatre, education, and mental health advocacy, positioning her uniquely within the Scottish and international screen sectors.
With a background in art, writing, film and media as well as extensive experience in holding counselling and constellation sessions plus thirty years plus of working in educational setting, Carrie has led generations of people through trainings and journeys of self discovery. With a learnt belief that if we listen carefully to every element of a story, something more powerful begins to happen, Carrie's sets are led in a visionary way that holds curiosity and an inclusive paradigm for what might be looking to come through with everyone and everything involved.
